Pacific Northwest Adventure Description
Journey into the stunning Pacific Northwest and spend ten days backpacking in the North Cascades -- highlighted by clean alpine lakes, snow-capped peaks, and glaciated landscapes -- and ten days kayaking off the west coast of Vancouver Island -- complete with whale sightings, islands of white sand, and magnificent sunsets.

Trip Difficulty: Level 4
Level 4 trips are advanced hiking, biking, paddling, kayaking, or backpacking trips for four weeks. Review all Level 3 wilderness skills and take on a significant role in the daily operation of the trip as you partipate in cook groups and fill the job of Leader of the Day. High ropes challenges and immersion in various teamwork and leadership situations build your confidence and prepare you to be valuable member of the Echo staff.

Dates, Capacity, Eligibility, and Pricing
Sessions 4 & 5 Sun July 20 to Fri Aug 15 (26 days)
     3 Guides and 9 Participants
     Entering Grade 12
     Fee: $3,245 ($2,995 for members of any YMCA)
