"My daughter had an excellent time on the Boundary Waters Trip. She was so enthusiastic about her counselors and they did such a good job of helping the kids bond. What a fabulous experience. THANK YOU!

Minnesota Boundary Waters Canoe Trip Description
Spend eight days canoeing this environmentally protected watershed with over 1,000 lakes and streams near the US/Canadian border. Join the thousands of other visitors each year who have discovered this hidden gem. By day, participants experience the rugged beauty of waterfalls, rock cliffs, and abundant wildlife including moose and turtles. After some of the most beautiful sunsets imaginable, the group enjoys campfires and falls asleep under a phenomenal blanket of stars - maybe even the Northern Lights! Participants have ample opportunity for swimming and general fun.

Trip Level: Basic Adventure Trip
Basic backpacking, canoeing, and biking trips. Participants help select campsites, have more cooking responsibilities, and lead the group with a map and a compass. The wilderness setting is slightly more remote; participants may be several hours from advanced medical care. Participants are expected to be physically able to hike, canoe, or bike for about six hours a day over moderately difficult terrain. Age-appropriate team elements and initiatives teach leadership, decision-making, and good judgment.
