Adventure Trip Gear Information
Making sure that you have all of the right gear for your trip can be a bit daunting. Listed below are
all of the trips that are going out this summer. While a lot of the gear is the same from trip to trip
there are specific things for each trip. Make sure that you click on the right list for your trip. If

These lists do not include clothes to be worn while on the bus, van, or at Camp Echo.
Any items that trippers do not take with them on the trip will be kept locked in storage at camp and labeled with the
camper's name. At the end of the session the bags will be put on the buses and held at the YMCA
in Evanston for you to pick up at your convenience.
- Radios, televisions, computers, calculators, PDAs
- Cell phones, electronic games, or pagers (click here for more information)
- Digital music players with Wi-Fi or video capability (click here for more information)
- Hair dryers
- Cases of bottled water
- Food, other than what you can consume on the bus ride
- Glass containers (aerosol cans discouraged but permitted)
- Self-medications (aspirin, cough drops, ex-lax -- trip staff will have these in the first aid kit)
- Valuable jewelry or keepsakes
- Pets
- Matches or lighters
- Knives of any type, or guns
- Firecrackers, sparklers, snakes, or equivalent
- Alcohol, tobacco products, illegal drugs, or intoxicants
