 |

then practice your skills in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula.
"Trailblazers was challenging, but I felt like I accomplished a lot when I finished.
It pushed me out of my comfort zone ... but the counselors helped me persevere throughout my experience.
Thank you for making my summers so memorable!"

Boys Trailblazers Description
|
For twenty years, Trailblazers has provided an opportunity for older middle school boys to develop as individuals among a strong group of peers.
Trailblazers learn the basics of paddling, backpacking, and wilderness living at Camp Echo while gaining skills in teamwork,
trust, and communication on our team elements course.
The group then journeys to Michigan's Upper Peninsula to spend three days canoeing under a canopy of trees on the Big Two Hearted River,
and three days hiking the North Country Trail where wildflowers, fresh air, clean water, and starry nights abound.
Between paddling and hiking, participants enjoy a layover day along the shores of Lake Superior - relaxing, fishing, swimming, and cooking delicious meals.
Trailblazers return to Echo forever changed by their experience, and spend their final day celebrating their accomplishments.
